What is the definition of humanity? What are the characteristics of humanity? Is there one single word that defines humanity as a whole?

What defines the individual? What are some notable motives of the human being that can be attributed to nearly every single entity? What are the few categories that every single person fits in?

In what ways is the individual vitally affected by certain given definitions? How might the definition(s) given to human beings influence the actions and thought process of the individual entity?

Do humans think and act as they do because of labels that have been previously placed upon them? Do all human beings tend to act or think in similar manners?
